University of St. Thomas Offensive Coordinator (2023 Division III Offensive Coordinator of the year) Caleb Corrill shows you how to consistently create positive numbers at the point of attack.
Teach your players to make the best split-second decisions that will keep defenses guessing and help you move the chains.
This video is a portion of his Glazier Drive Presentation: Six for Six 3rd Level RPO Concepts out of a Multiple Spread Offense
The run concept in the video is what they install starting day 1.
They are looking to get into a positive numbers situation at the point of attack. The snap decision to run or pass is made directly after the snap.
A little of Coach Corrill's philosophy:
He has an aggressive mindset on play style and play calls.
Value players over plays and get good players the ball. 1 on 1 with a good player with the ball = 1 on none.
Dictate the tempo of the game with pace, formation, and motion.
Stretch the field from sideline to sideline and end zone to end zone.
Be creative in use of personnel, formations, motions (looks), but simple conceptually.
Teach your staff and players the WHY behind what you are doing.
