One way to win the special teams battle is to not allow your opponent to return a punt. In this video, John Lilly (Head Coach at Independence High School in West Virginia) details his Bench Punt system and rules.
Their goal for the kicking game is to not allow a punt return and allow ZERO return yards (kickoff and punt) for the game.
You can see his entire presentation entitled: Never Allow Your Opponent's to Return Punts with a Boundary Return Package only on Glazier Drive.
If you are having difficulty seeing the rules, you can right click (control-click on a mac) and download the image. Or, you can adjust the zoom in your browser.
