Running Back Gauntlet Drill
To start the Gauntlet Drill, have your running backs form a single file line. Position three players to either side of the ball carrier. Players should be positioned approximately 3 yards apart. As the ball carrier runs the gauntlet, players will try to strip the ball from the RB.
Ball carrier must cover the tip of the ball and lower his shoulder as he runs the gauntlet, don't run straight up and down.
Have the ball carrier place the back of his heels on a line, checking for any false steps by the ball carriers. The false step should be coached and corrected.
