Quarterback Jump and Throw Drill

Quarterback Jump and Throw Drill

1. Stand 15 yards apart.

2. The quarterback should face 45 degrees away from the receiver/target.

3. Jump and turn at the same time with your shoulder chocked.

4. Throw.

Repeat the drill from 90, 135, and 180 degrees, and on through with the other four compass positions.

The receiver should take a step forward, turn and come back for the ball, then turn upfield.
