Quarterback Goal Post Distraction Drill

Quarterback Goal Post Distraction Drill

Illustration of QUARTERBACK GOAL POST DISTRACTION DRILL

A simple yet effective way to train your wide receivers to catch difficult balls can be done using your own field’s goal post.

Receiver stands behind the goal post and extends both arms as he awaits the throw from the quarterback. Catch the ball and see it all the way into the tuck.

Once the receiver makes the catch he then goes to the end of the line and the quarterback throws to the next receiver.

The purpose of this drill is to help improve the receiver's concentration, see the ball catch it with the hands.
